Fourth Grade

Fourth grade is an exciting and challenging year! We study a wide variety of topics, learning about the world around us and becoming critical thinkers. Using hands on activities and creative projects we master fractions and long division, become better readers and writers, and learn about our country, studying the regions of the United States. Our inner scientists work hard doing labs and learning about life science, earth science and physical science. Friday afternoons are art time, as we create beautiful projects based on famous works of art and from our own imaginations.

Fourth graders also have the privilege of being trained as altar servers and serving at the school Masses. Our religion curriculum also covers the Old Testament, the Ten Commandments, and the Sacraments.
