The SEAS BASC program offers qualified supervision of school children which includes snacks, structured time, time for homework and study, and time for free play and other activities.

The BASC program only operates on days when SEAS school is open for classes. The before-school care opens at 7:00 a.m. and runs until the school opens for all students at 8:30 a.m. The after-school care program opens when students are dismissed from school at 3:15 p.m. and continues until 6:00 p.m.

The fees for BASC are $5.00 per hour per child. Parents are billed monthly for services. Extra charges are incurred should a child be left after 6 p.m. or dropped off before 7 a.m. You may make arrangements if this service is needed periodically.

Parents must annually register their child(ren) in the BASC program. A registration form must be filled out completely and be on file before a child begins the BASC program. The form will include detailed permission as to who may pick up your child(ren). Children are accepted on a regular continuous basis as well as on a part time and drop-in basis.

The BASC coordinator is Mrs. Schoendaller. She can be reached during BASC operational hours at the school number 345-3712 or on her cell , 227-6639 . Mrs. Schoendaller carries her cell phone at all times in BASC.

Toys, sports equipment and games are NOT to be brought to BASC from home.
Playground and indoor behavior rules are the same for BASC children as they are for all SEAS students. Running in the halls of the church and loud voices are NOT allowed. Running is only to be done outside or in the MIKI Center. Consequences of negative behavior by your child will be dealt with immediately. This may include separation from activities or a phone call to parents. If poor behavior continues, the principal will be contacted and the child may be dismissed from the BASC program. All dismissals are final.
